DOCUMENTATION 》 TOFFEE-DataCenter screenshots on a Dual CPU - Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5645 @ 2.40GHz - Dell Server

Here are some of the live screenshots of TOFFEE-DataCenter deployed in a powerful Dual CPU Dell Server with Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5645 @ 2.40GHz.
* for more details about the Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5645 @ 2.40GHz specifications/benchmarks kindly visit: HERE

** I have blacked out few portions in these screenshots (as you can see gray bars) for privacy and security reasons.

For example here is TOFFEE-DataCenter (or TOFFEE) optimized ISP networks(tunnels) between countries. In this case there is an ISP in Libya having slow backbone Internet, hence he can establish a TOFFEE based optimized tunnel between Romania Data-center (having high-speed internet) and Libya. Similarly there is another ISP in Argentina is able to boost his backbone Internet services by establishing a tunnel between his ISP and US West-Coast (California) Data-center. For more details click HERE.

ISPs can also build multiple TOFFEE optimized tunnels for redundancy, load-share, etc. And in this case the ISP in Argentina established two tunnels. One between Argentina ISP to US West-Coast (California) Data-center and the other between Argentina ISP Romania Data-center as shown below.

TOFFEE-Mocha is my dream project which I thought working on it since several years. I want to make a WAN emulation software which is straight forward and simple to use. I used tc scripts along with iptables for testing my TOFFEE (and TrafficSqueezer before TOFFEE) and I am not quite satisfied with the same. As one can understand these scripts are not meant for WAN emulation.

TOFFEE-Mocha WAN Emulation software development - Update: 15-July-2016 ↗
Saturday' 13-Mar-2021
Today I completed doing all the changes which are meant for the new upcoming TOFFEE-Mocha release. I have increased the resolution and the range of all factor variables. Instead 1 to 10 range now they have a range of 1 to 30. Unlike before the value 1 means it is lot more intense (or in some cases less intense) and the uppermost value 30 means lot less intense (or in some cases lot intense).

Here is my second software development update of TOFFEE-Butterscotch. In the previous update (28-Oct-2016) I discussed about the Alerts, etc. Whereas in my first TOFFEE-Butterscotch news update I have introduced about TOFFEE-Butterscotch research, project specifications, use-cases, etc.

Today I have done a test setup so that I can able to connect my Android Samsung Tab via TOFFEE DataCenter. Below is my complete test topology of my setup. For demo (and research/development) context I configured TOFFEE DataCenter in engineering debug mode. So that I do not need two devices for this purpose.

Earlier the TOFFEE is intended to work on IoT devices, Satellite Networks, branch office/SOHO deployments. In most cases the users may deploy just one or couple of TOFFEE devices per site. But in the case of TOFFEE-DataCenter, users can scale-up deploying the same in multiple servers in a sort of distributed cluster computing scenario. Besides the core TOFFEE-DataCenter components (such as packet processing engine/framework), I need to do lot of changes in its Graphical User Interface (GUI) too to address these new requirements.

TOFFEE-Butterscotch is an open-source software which can be used to save and optimize your Internet/WAN bandwidth. Unlike TOFFEE (and TOFFEE-DataCenter) TOFFEE-Butterscotch is a non peer-to-peer (and asymmetric) network optimization solution. This makes TOFFEE-Butterscotch an ideal tool for all Home and SOHO users.

A study on Deep Space Networks (DSN) ↗
Saturday' 13-Mar-2021
When you are dealing Deep Space Networks (DSN) one among the most challenging parts is the Interplanetary distances and communicating data across such vast distances. This is where we are not dealing with common Internet type traffic such as HTTP/FTP/VoIP/etc but it is completely different when it comes to DSN so far. So optimizing data in DSN becomes mandatory. For example if you think one of the Mars Rovers, they have used LZO lossless compression.
